The problem

A haveli homestay near the fort gets most bookings through OTAs at 15 to 20 per cent commission, and answers the same availability questions on WhatsApp all day.

This design study gives the homestay its own booking journey: rooms, dates, prices and a UPI deposit, with a calendar the host manages from a phone and instant WhatsApp confirmation for the guest. OTA calendars stay in sync so a room is never double-booked. Built as a study to show hotels and homestays across India what booking direct looks like.
